Power of the Press.
Letterpress printing has become a rare form of printing since technology has taken over. I had the privilege of taking a letterpress printing class at Indiana University this semester, and I have fallen in love with it. Here are some of the projects I made over the course of a semester.
Acadia National Park.
This project was done using a linocut! I created the image on illustrator and then transferred it to the linoleum block and carved away each layer. This poster aims to draw people in with the image of Acadia National Park and then inform them about the dangers of tourists on the land who do not know how to take care of the park.
The end of an era.
As the last semester of my college experience was coming to a close, I wanted to make something for all the people who made an impact on my life throughout my time at Indiana University. So, I wrote a letter to them. This letterpress project will always be one of my favorites.
